For New Perspectives
Qe to Hare is a Creative Inquiry Company that reconstructs the context of society through the power of inquiry.
By weaving together art and diverse perspectives, we access the unarticulated essence hidden deep within clients and organizations. From there, we craft new inquiries that open pathways to the future.
A Practice Rooted in Inquiry, Sustaining Transformation and Co-Creation
At Qe to Hare, we cultivate co-creative initiatives that begin with inquiry. In areas such as vision building, brand strategy, and organizational or personal transformation, we support change in companies and communities through perspectives that reveal the essence and the practical ability to bring those insights into form. This process unfolds as a unique and transformative experience.
Furthermore, by re-examining our relationships with society, nature, and local resources, and by creating value from new vantage points, we open up possibilities for sustainable growth and collaborative futures.
Origin of the Name and Vision
The concept of Qe to Hare is inspired by folklorist Kunio Yanagita’s notion of hare (the extraordinary) and ke (the everyday). The company’s name expresses the idea of transforming the ordinary (ke) into the extraordinary (hare). This vision traces back to artist Eikoh Tanaka, who expanded his artistic practice into a company format, launching Qe to Hare as an outgrowth of his work. Today, as an artpreneur, he leads diverse projects that bridge art, society, and business.

Four Domains for Reweaving the Future
Management Support
Redefining the reason for existence — articulating “Why this company is needed in society.”
At the root of any business lies the question: Why do we do what we do?
In an age where this is often overlooked, it is vital to revisit the founder’s vision, the DNA of the organization, and the life perspective of its leaders.
Qe to Hare’s management support focuses on updating a company’s philosophy, purpose, and guiding principles—restoring a sense of “gravitational meaning” to the organization.
Refreshing a philosophy is not merely a renewal of words. It is a strategic act of existence that sets the stage for the future.

Communication
Brands that resonate are those that carry a story.
What matters today is not simply the transmission of information, but the worldview that asks: Why do we wish to share this?
At Qe to Hare, we articulate the philosophies, cultures, and human qualities that lie behind organizations, and translate them into film, language, and design. Rather than conventional PR, we support the building of brands that inspire empathy—rooted in storytelling that creates trust.
Outputs grounded in essence remain in the memory of customers, strengthen the bonds within teams, and clarify the stance an organization takes toward society.

Training & Education
Rewriting the “operating system of thought.” Creativity is not a skill, but an attitude toward the world.
Too many training programs still focus on cramming “knowledge” under the banner of human resource development. Qe to Hare’s programs go deeper: through art thinking, embodied cognition, and dialogue, we cultivate the capacity to observe, to make meaning, and to formulate questions.
What follows logical thinking is the integration of sensitivity and structural capacity. Our process, which accompanies participants from the unpacking to the reconstruction of thought, functions as a kind of “mental strength training” for business professionals navigating an age of transformation.

Business Development
The power to design meaning—connecting inner desire with signals from society.
Truly outstanding businesses do not emerge only from external trends; they arise from an organization’s inner worldview and latent drives. At Qe to Hare, we surface the unarticulated resources and seeds of aspiration that lie dormant within companies, and connect them with broader social and cultural contexts to shape the backbone of new ventures.
This is not simply new business development, but a re-editing process in which business = narrative × structure. It is a framework we especially wish to deliver to mission-driven entrepreneurs and next-generation leaders.
