Kyoto University KUEP Space Design

OUTLINE

The Kyoto University Entrepreneur Platform (KUEP) was established as a foundation to provide diverse resources essential for cultivating entrepreneurship. We directed the concept design, logo, and overall spatial design of the project.

The design concept is centered on “cultivating multifaceted perspectives for new value creation and fostering reflective learning.” The space is conceived as an environment that supports the process of learning while nurturing entrepreneurial spirit.

The logo draws inspiration from perspectives of both 2D and 3D, as well as digital fabrication tools. Designed as a pattern with infinite expandability, it unfolds across the walls of the space. The color scheme combines Kyoto University’s symbolic blue with matte gray and silver, evoking both a forward-looking vision and a sense of timelessness.

This design goes beyond creating a merely functional space. It aims to establish an environment where learning and entrepreneurship intersect, sparking the emergence of new value.
