“Awakening the Senses” Co-Creation Workshop with CyberAgent

OUTLINE

We at Qe to Hare Inc. designed, structured, and facilitated the co-creation workshop “Awakening the Senses” for the marketing team of CyberAgent Inc., in collaboration with contemporary artist and Tokyo University of the Arts professor Shinji Ohmaki.

This workshop was conceived as a space to reactivate creativity and co-creation within the organization by returning to the roots of human sensory intelligence. Rather than “viewing” artworks, the focus was on re-perceiving the world through the body, allowing each participant to reconnect with their own senses and awareness.

The program began with a talk by Ohmaki, from which questions around subtle perceptions—such as the “presence of air” or “shifts in perspective”—were posed. Participants were then invited to respond not with words, but through their own embodied senses, entering into a process of non-verbal, perceptual thinking.

Throughout the session, Eikoh Tanaka, CEO of Qe to Hare, guided the overall flow, crafting an experience that unsettled and restructured the organization’s perceptual frameworks through art.

Positioned within CyberAgent’s long-term vision of becoming “the most creative organization in Japan”, this initiative sought to reawaken the power of feeling within a sales-driven culture often dominated by logic and numbers.
